What can you do for an elementary school? You can support the children of a school for one year by paying any sum as mentioned in 'What you can fund?'. This money is to be sent by you to the Mission Director, Rajya Shiksha Kendra, B-Wing, Pustak Bhawan, Arera Hills, Bhopal - 462011, M.P. India. For those who are making their remittances from outside India, Rajya Shiksha Kendra has obtained the necessary permission under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act.

How your contribution is processed and used

As soon as the money is received, we inform the head teacher of the school of your selection and hand over these funds to the local PTA. The head teacher discusses with the parental community on what needs to be done in the school with the money. The PTA of the school decides areas in which school needs to be strengthened. These areas may be – furniture, books, teaching-leaning material, boundary wall, fencing, health related activities, drinking water facilities, uniform etc. The proposal on a prescribed format is sent to Rajya Shiksha Kendra within 30 days. After this, the money is sent by the Director to the corpus fund (Shala Shiksha Kosh) of the school which is managed by the PTA.

Connecting the isolated
The world is now a knowledge-economy. We need to create opportunities for knowledge sharing. To end the divide between the knows and the know-nots, between the connected and the isolated, let us use the internet. You can do it by supporting a school in Madhya Pradesh in India for a year.
